The recent union between GOC-Kallinikos and the Synod in Resistance has generated many discussions that are far to be over. In order to help everybody get a better view on the question, we are offering here, for the first time in English as far as we know, the original decision by which Cyprian of Fili was defrocked in 1986. This English translation was made by independent professional (but not certified) translator from the original Greek text.

The defrocking of Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropos
The Holy Synod, on the 4th/18th of November 1986 defrocked the Metropolitan of Oropos Cyprian Koutsouba from the position of Metropolitan and made him a priest, because he fell into the heresy of Ecumenism and created secession to our Church. This is a particularly sad event in the history of our struggles, because as it turned out, the deposed Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas for over fifteen years managed to deceive the Church of G.O.C. of Greece pretending to be a pure Christian Orthodox, even managed to climb all the steps of priesthood. He became a bishop, though his heart was literally mangled from the falsehoods preachments of the Ecumenism of the New Calendar. Nobody opposes that deposing a bishop is definitely something tragic for the Church, but as we suggested previously, on the occasion of the demotion of the former Archbishop Afxentios, many times this action of the Church is unavoidable. Such is the case of the former Metropolitan and current friar Cyprian Koutsouba. Below we explain the reasons why:
1. When a bishop preaches heresy by not mentioning the head of the church, as Cyprian did, the Church must take necessary measures to fend its flock from this heresy. The most effective way to react in this case is the removal of the rotten member from the body to prevent the spread of gangrene, removing this heresy from the healthy Church members. That is how the Church is acting in its long history. In this case, Cyprian already misbelieved to such a point by saying that the New Calendar is the One, holy catholic and apostolic Church, while we, who follow the paternal Orthodox calendar we are not... a Church: This was such an evil blasphemy, which came from the lips of a person, who was a Bishop, a follower of the old calendar.
2. There was one more reason why the defrocking of Cyprian by the Church was inevitable. Once cut off from the Church, he became the reason for a schism and he founded, with his own inspiration the "Holy Synod in Resistance." The Holy Fathers created the Synod in Resistance and zealously engaged the agitation of consciousness and the conversion of ordinary believers.
If the deposed Metropolitan Cyprian, after being cut off from the Church, was confined in his Convent, then the Holy Synod would be waiting, always hoping for him to return, as it happened for the other secessionist priests, Akakio of Diafleias and Gavril of Cyclades, who were never sought to be deposed till today for the same reason. But since Cyprian conceived the diabolical plan to rock the Church, to create in various parts his own parishes, to mislead people and ordain many bishops, things changed. In this case, the Church had no other way out and felt forced to depose him, because of these extremist actions of the former Metropolitan Cyprian.
The issue, however, is that the Friar Cyprian instead of repenting and realising what his actions against the Orthodox Church were, he continued to drift towards heresy and schism. How many other heretics, who were condemned by the Church, did not repent, so why would Cyprian repent. In effect, this is what the Apostle Pavlos said to Titus “Leave the heretical man after the second admonition. The heretical person, who is aware of his heresy, has moved from the true path and is leading himself to his damnation" (Tit. C 10-11). Cyprian, by insisting on the falsehoods of ecumenism “is falling into sin as self-condemned".
We sincerely regret Cyprian’s fall. We feel even more pity for the many innocent souls, that were swept away by the improperly and heretical sermons and were removed from the Church. However, we are feeling more sorry and saddened, because there are theologians, who believed the ideas of the New Calendarist and instead of advising him to return to Orthodoxy, they drove him increasingly more towards delusion and unrepentance.
We pray for this unpleasant event. The deposition of Cyprian, is the salutary occasion for the necessary reflection of all G.O.C. who are faithful, to be aware that the heresy can touch the curbs of our Church, if we are not careful. We must be vigilant by monitoring every heretical movement, standpoint, denunciation and discarding any heretic, as was done perfectly, by the Holy Synod for Cyprian Koutsoumpa and we will never cease to hope for his repentance and return.
In Korydallos and in the Holy Church of Saint Marina the Great Martyr (between Sofias Street and Crete), today, the 5/18 November 1986, a meeting was held by the Holy Synod of the Genuine Orthodox Christians of Greece as Conciliar Court under the Presidency of His Eminence, the Archbishop of Athens Mr. CHRYSOSTOMOU. There were also present the Metropolitans, members of Fthiotida and Thavmakos Mr. KALLINIKOS, Magnisias Mr. MAXIMUS, Achaias and the entire Peloponnese Mr KALLINIKOS, Inois Mr MATHAIOU, Pentapoleos Mr KALLIOPIOY, Chiou, Psaron and Oinousson Mr STEFANOU, Acharnon and N. Ionia Mr ATHANASIOY, Evripou and Evia Mr IOUSTINOY. The others, who were unable to attend, were: His Eminence THE Metropolitan of Piraeus and Salaminas Mr. GERONIOY, Astorias Mr PETROY, Dodekanisou Mr KALLINIKOU and Thessalonikis Mr. EFTHYMIOY, who were notified by the Holy Synod of their decision.
To judge the Metropolitans Cyprian Koutsouba of Oropos and Filis, Ioannoy of Sardinias and those who were ordained by them: a) Chrysostomou Gonzalez (Mexican), b) Niphon Gkigkountou (Kenyan), c) Chrysostomou Kouskoutopoulou, d) Chrysostomou Marlasi and another three unidentified to us, a Swedish, an Italian and an Austrian, who formed the novel "Holy Synod in Resistance", were accused for the following and did not appear in Court, even though they were legally summoned, as shown by the Publication Number: 12372/31-10-1986 proof of service by bailiff Evangelos Moumela of Athens.
After the usual prayer, observed the legal quorum, His Eminence and President, the Archbishop of Athens Mr. CHRYSOSTOMOS opened the meeting. The duty of secretary was assigned to the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, Metropolitan of Achaias and the entire Peloponnese Mr. KALLINIKOS, who read the indictment as follows:
"All the accused:
a) degraded the Orthodox Faith, which was delivered to us by the Holy and God-bearing Fathers of the Church and by the decisions of the Holy Synod of our Church, in 1935, 1950 and 1974 and they embraced the Ecumenical falsehoods, in which they claimed that the schismatics New Calendarists are the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the Holder of Holy Grace and Ark of Salvation and that the Church of G.O.C. of Greece is not a church.
b) They propagate indiscriminately and without examining the sacraments of our Church to the innovative and ecumenical schimatics New Calendarists.
c) After their secession from our church, they have formed their own Church and were accused of creating the self-proclaimed "Holy Synod in Resistance" with the Metropolitans Cyprian of Oropos and John of Sardinias and those who were ordained by others. Moreover Metropolitan Cyprian was accused that for 15 years he deceived the Authority and his faithful and pious people of our Church of Greece of G.O.C, of Greece by supposedly confessing his faith to our Church to receive his ordination as a Bishop, by revealing his true purpose, which was to receive his ordination and the establishment of a "church" of his own inspiration to promote a conscience based on misbeliefs.
Then, the Metropolitan, Mr. Kalliopios, originator for this, read below:
Holy President, Members of the Holy Synod
Executing the decision of the Holy Synod on 3/16 October 1986, for which I received the letter, I submit suggestions for the Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropoy and Fili who seceded from the Church of the GOC and is accused for misbeliefs, with reverence I mention the following:
The Eminence Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropos and Filis, by the year 1968, he belonged to the schismatic public "Church" of the innovative calendarists where he received the first two points of priesthood.
The year 1968 (Sunday of Orthodoxy) he replaced the new calendar, which he was using till then, for the devotional life of his Hermitage, with the Old, without stopping the memorial of the new-calendarists bishop of Attica Nokodimou and disrupt the communion with the public innovative Church. (see Magazine "St. Cyprian , issue. 52, August 1971 pg 57 )." The reasons which prevented the accused Bishop Cyprian to join the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece were described by him in his book "How I met the Old Calendar and came back to it," where he mentions the following blasphemy:
"From 1924 until 1968, the Church of Greece is divided. We have New Calendarists and Old Calendarists. This is a curse for our Church: it is the joy of the devil and of the heretics. The half good devil prompted the Witnesses and the Confessors of our Native traditions, the Old Calendarists to the edge and I do not hesitate to say: if these Christians were not caught to the edges, we would have already returned to the Old Calendar and we would be all united to fight the common heresies, they hit us from everywhere and especially today from the papacy. They begin to believe that by following the Old Calendar and if the Church follows the official New Calendar, the Holy Spirit will leave their grace. Oh! Fallacy! They preach that our holy sacraments are not valid!
When I studied the issue of the calendar, my heart found rest there, in the Old Calendar. Indeed, when God claimed me to become a priest in 1961 at the new monastery of Saints Kyprianou and Ioustinis Filis, that made me want to return to the Old Calendar. What made me delay and postpone at the time, was the fanaticism and the excesses of Old Calendarists. I would have followed them around 1964-1965 but I did not because I was asked to denounce the official Church. That shook me and I postponed it. Even after this, my passion for the Old Calendar pressured me to return. A cleric visited our monastery the same year, and made me upset by telling me that the sacraments of the Official Church are invalid. I expelled him from the monastery and postponed it again. The same happened to me in 1967. One sees very sad things in the people of Christ, to the redemptive work of his successors. While the Old Calendarists receive the highest rank of priesthood, Bishops, (from the Russian Church Abroad), who are in communion with the New Calendarists, persuade the simple but holy people who follow them, that the New Calendar will urge them to sin. This is how they are turning them into fanatics and see many of their brothers as enemies while they believe that they themselves have been saved. They should believe the opposite that everyone else will be saved while they are urged into sin. What to say about the Matthewites (Matthew’s opposition). They are known for their delusion. While they have been receiving irregular ordinanation, they are completely inaccessible and remain closeted in their own delusion and excesses. They do not completely admit the Sacraments of the Official Church, they re-myrrh their followers, when returning from the new to the Old and they re-ordain the clergy. Oh! Terrible blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! Oh! Delusion! Oh! Damnation for these people!
The delusions and the atrocities have made the gap of separation bigger and they have not left a bridge one can pass. How is the Devil seducing them! All Orthodox Churches, the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the monasteries of Mount Athos follow the Traditional, however, they have ecclesiastical communion with the official Church, but they bluntly deny it. The new calendar was introduced normally. Since the other fraternal Orthodox Churches did not condemn this act of the official Church of Greece, how can we stand and condemn? The wiser and more sensible for those who love the paternal Calendar is to follow but not separated from the MOTHER, the official CHURCH OF GRECE."
On 3/16 January 1969, the memorial for the name of New Calendarist Bishop Nicodemus of Attikis ceased and joined the Church of our G.O.C. of Greece where he embraced the declared ecclesiology, as formulated in the Holy Synod, in the newletter No. 13/26 May, carried out by the late Bishop Chrysostomos of Florinas, and repeated in the Holy Synod No. 1191/June 5, 1974 according to which "the sacraments of the New Calendarists were deprived of sanctifying grace" and ordered all the clergymen of G.O.C. "to serve only the members of our Church."
Complied fully to the Church, on the sacraments and not serving the New Calendarists, the accused on 2/15 October 1974, speaking at the celebration at his Holy Monastery, officiated by the Metropolitan of Piraeus and Salamis Gerontius, proclaimed his commitment to the so-called newsletter of 1191, stating that henceforth he will not serve the innovative New Calendarists in a sacrament!
With this granted Orthodox ecclesiology of the Church, the accused steeped, on 7/ 20 February and was ordained Metropolitan Oropou by the Metropolitans Kallistos of Corinth and Anthony of Megaridos, who were known for their unwavering commitment to the Teaching of the Church regarding the deprivation of sanctifying grace in the sacraments of the New and the fact that they should not receive sacrament from us.
The Metropolitan Kallistos of Corinth, in the early 1983, issued the pamphlet of “Apology“ and on 24/5/1983 the “Confession – Letter” where was proclaimed clearly that the Church of the Old Calendar remained unrepentantly as the pan-heresy of the Ecumenical, cut off from the whole Church, is formally heretical and its sacraments are invalid "(see Ven . Callistus ' Apology ' Athens 1983, p31).
The letter sent by Bishop Cyprian on 30/05/1983 to the Metropolitan Kallistos of Corinth and writes: "Through these texts, the inappropriate sermon is declared to you, the loss of the Divine Grace across the Orthodox Church, accepting the calendar Innovation of 1924. Your opinion for us is that we do not exist, we cannot be proven and we are unorthodox. The Holy Ecumenical Synods firstly examines via God, proves traditionally and then decides. You do the opposite. Anti-traditional without prior consultation with the other members of our Holy Synod... (see "Our places" mag. "St. Cyprian 'Issue 191, November 1984 , pp. 382-383).
First we need to observe Metropolitan Cyprian’s hypocrisy, who dares to preach that the loss of sanctifying grace of the Sacraments of Calendarists, which he said that he believed until that moment, proclaimed throughout the Church of G.O.C. in his letter to Metropolitan Kallistos characterises as UNORTHODOX!
Under these circumstances the Metropolitan Kallistos of Corinth, on 16/29 -10 1983 made a statement about Metropolitan’s Cyprian misbeliefs and some of his actions "to Fili, to the memory of Saints Cyprian and Justina, twice he fell into this shame and anathema to these dignitaries, who pray together with all the bishops, acting, singing with the schism-heretics chanters, undismayed by the disapprovals and without the approval of their Fathers” announces the end of his detachment from our church.
Our Holy Synod, in its statement No. 106/b 10/18/1983, signed by Metropolitan Cyprian, punished Metropolitan Kallistos due to his act of wanting to be detached from our church, but proclaimed her faith, in which the Holy Synod of the Church is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, and is inspired by the teachings of the Holy Fathers, keeps intact the confession of the late Bishop of Chrysostomos of Florina, starting at the year 1935. We always considered ecumenist and novel and in accordance with the Doctrines, heresy and outside of the Church, this is the only ark of salvation of mankind and in which the Grace of the Holy Spirit acts through the sacraments.
Despite the above declaration of faith, Metropolitan Cyprian accepted on 08/27/84 ecclesiastical communion (prayer) during the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, the ecumenical patriarch of Alexandria Nikolao, which was pointed by the Holy Synod through the strict document for which he was confronted, as said below:
The Holy Synod of the Church of the GOC of Greece during this meeting on 09/04/1984, taking note of your letter No. 103/6-8-1984 the content of which was opposite of the given teaching of the Orthodox Church, as reflected in the pan-heresy of ecumenism, and with the fact that on Sunday, August 27, not only you accepted in prayer the New Calendarist Patriarch of Alexandria Nicholaon you also announced this with great delight during the congregation in church, your presence and this prayer, who is a known ecumenical, having knowledge and without authorisation, from the Authority, you went to the U.S., a foreign province, which is under the jurisdiction of the Exarch of the Synod, despite the prohibition of the Divine and Sacred Rules, to appear before and to apologise for the above accusations, on Tuesday, 19 September at 5 pm at the Holy Monastery of Metamorfoseos of Sotiros, Glukon Neron of Attiki. In case you do not appear, the Holy Synod, will proceed without you in consideration of the above accusations.
Metropolitan Cyprian did not appear the aforementioned day to apologise, the Holy Synod found the accusations to be true and solid and punished him during the Conference of 9/19/84 with a 40-day suspension, which he did not carry out.
Thereafter, the Metropolitan Cyprian, set up his own "Church" with the Holy Synod of "Resistance(!)" and with members himself and the Metropolitan of Sardinia Ioanni, who on 04/05/85 based on misbeliefs, denounced the Holy Synod of our Church and were seceded .
Finally, the Holy Synod, after the outbreak of the rebellious Metropolitan Cyprian, made known its decision no. 28/10-2-86 to suspend him indefinitely and to refer him to the Conciliar Court trial, and this recommendation (see newspaper "Voice of the Fathers” paper 13 May-June 1986 page 4 ) .
Metropolitan Cyprian did not respect this suspension either, who did not only work regularly, he also ordained bishops former married people like:
1) Niphon Kigkountou
2) Chrysostomo Gonzalez
3) Chrysostomo Marlasi
4) Chrysostomo Kouskoutopoulou and two foreigners, an Italian and a Swedish, unidentified to us.
2. From these facts it shows that Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas went to the Church of the G.O.C. in order to establish his own, individual "Church" to preach his falsehoods teachings that are contrary to our Faith, which were preserved till now by our church.
So, Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas hid thoroughly his misbeliefs, that were proclaimed through his book "How I met the Old Calendar and I returned to it” (Pag 1-3), after joining in 1969, the ecclesiology of the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece as expressed by the Holy Synods of 1935, 1950 and 1974, which were clearly established that the Church of Greece by introducing the Gregorian Calendar became a schism in accordance with the decisions of three Pan-Orthodox Synods of 1583, 1587 and 1593 and that its Sacraments lack of sanctifying grace under the First Rule of Vasilios the Great.
After a decade, the year 1979, he persuaded the Metropolitans Kalliston of Corinth and Anthonios of Attica and Megaridos, both heavily committed in the Orthodox Creed of our Church and ordained him Metropolitan. Immediately after, he implemented this diabolical plan, creating the "Church" in order to preach freely his misbeliefs. Already a member of the Holy Synod of our Church, created without their knowledge an Association, under the name "CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF ORITHODOX GREEKS” (20 October 1982), “legally represented temporary by five members of Commanding Committee consisting of the following priest at the Monastery of the Holy Cyprian and Justina in Fili
1) Cyprian, aka Demetrios Koutsouba,
2) Cyprian, aka Peter Giouli
3) Chrysostomou, aka Marlasi
4) Athanasiou, aka Anthonios Georgioti and
5) ApostoliKagioglou (married).
Note that the above, who allegedly founded the "Church" all clergy, were ashamed or afraid, to sign in the capacity of High Priest or Priests, denying their Priesthood!
This fact, namely the creation of the "Church", proves that since then he was preparing his secession from our church which he was a member.
Then, with the “motive” of the Faith proclaimed by our Church by Bishop Kallistos of Corinth from his writings in the "Apology" and in the "Confession Letter" disregarding his superiors, he began to preach publicly his misbeliefs, according to which, the innovators, are schismatic New Calendarists, Members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and their sacraments are full of charisma. Consistent with the universal teachings, he began, without informing the Holy Synod, to accept the New Calendarists clergy in prayer and to provide them with the Holy rituals, which forced the Metropolitan Kallisto to be excised from our Holy Synod so they do not associate with him.
The Holy Synod threw some of the blame to Metropolitan Kallistos for his decision to be removed so abruptly, because “he did not notify the Holy Synod before”, as it was required from him, “to denounce Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsouba’s misbeliefs. Note that the Holy Synod, never criticised Metropolitan Kallistos on his Orthodox beliefs, which is the same as our Church as falsely claimed by Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas.
It is significant that in relation to what was said before, Metropolitan Cyprian refuted himself about the sacraments of the New Calendarists and signed the decision of the Holy Synod (18-10-1983) against the seceded Metropolitan Callistos, where the invalidity of these sacraments is mentioned, to come back again after a while, to the same result, the ecumenical misbeliefs and to argue that the G.O.C. are supposedly the members of the "Resistance" and they are members of the Church of the innovative ecumenists New Calendarists. No longer being able to held by the deadly slump of his soul, he has abolished the Holy Synod of our Church and was severed from this, so the poor man created his own "Church" with a "Synod" under his chairmanship and with another member, the seceded Metropolitan Ioanni of Sardinia (furious because the Holy Synod did not ordain Evlogion of Milan as his assistant) and to “ordain” another seven bishops. Finally, he argued before the Archimandrite Paul Stratigea that the appointed Archbishop of Athens of the Orthodox Greece is Seraphim Tika.
All this suggests not only the deprivation from our Orthodox Faith and his accession to the fateful heresy of ecumenism, whose grander supporters happen to be the Patriarchs Meletios Metaxakis and Athenagoras Spyrou, but also the fraud to our Church whose faith and teaching he hypocritically accepted until he succeeded what he longed for, mainly his ordination and to appear to the people as G.O.C. while proving that he has as much to do with the G.O.C. as much the Uniates’ wolves in sheepskins have to do with Orthodoxy
Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas ebbed from the Orthodox Faith confessing that those who follow the orthodoxy innovation of local Churches have not lost their divine grace.
But if the Metropolitan Cyprian believed that, then why did he leave the Church of innovative Calendarists since this is the provider of the Holy Grace and the Ark of Salvation? The Holy Grace is passing to the faithful only through the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, which is the only ark of salvation. In this case, if the Metropolitan Cyprian confesses that the church of New Calendarists as the provider of the Holy Grace, proclaims to them that the Church of the New Calendarist is still the innovating one as established by Christ as the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, and that the Church of our G.O.C. of Greece is false, does not save nor sanctify the members because it lacks the inevitable need of the Holy Grace, which cannot be administered from TWO churches but ONE.
From this point onwards, the commendation of Metropolitan Koutsouba to depart from the Church of New Calendarists, with the assumption that the Church is the provider of the Holy Grace, as he sees and wrongly claims and therefore is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, it does not constitute God’s work as he says but Devil’s..
The faithful should be excised and cleaved from conventicles, schisms and heretical communities that constitute false "Churches" (such as the innovative New Calendarists) and are coalesced through the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and not the opposite as regrettably confessed by the Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas.
Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas ebbed from the Orthodox Faith confessing that "our departure from the innovative Synodal diagnosis is the correct and the traditional objection against error and that does not mean that we are the Church!”
Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas blasphemes by claiming that we are not the Church! Then what are we?
But if the Metropolitan Cyprian believes that the G.O.C. does not constitute Church, then why did he come to the G.O.C., who are always professing they are the Church?
Why did he pretend that he believes the faith of the G.O.C. until his ordination as a Bishop?
Why did he agree to be ordained as a Bishop from the High Priests, who always preached that the G.O.C. are the Church?
If the Church of Christ are schismatics New Calendarists, then why he does not recognise his dethronement as a Presbyter as he has recognized their sacraments?
If the G.O.C. of Greece are not a church then why did he abandon the recognised by him Church of the New Calendarists and he came to a nonexistent (by him) Church?
If we, the G.O.C. are not a Church, how dare he, after so many studies, not only to be ordained as a bishop but also to "establish" his own "Church" and "Holy Synod"?
Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas ebbed from the Orthodox Faith confessing that "the inappropriate sermon that claims that the innovative lost the Holy Grace by not being pious and consistent with the Holy Tradition of our Fathers is not the correct, commendable and effective complaint of Orthodox. It is a paradoxical innovation in the fight against innovative."
Teaching the loss of the Holy Grace from the sacraments of the schismatics and heretics is neither inappropriate sermon nor innovative. Firstly it is not inappropriate, because the Holy Grace exists only within the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, Orthodox Church of Christ and nowhere else and secondly is not novel because the Faith of the Orthodox Church supported and continued without interruption until us, through the Holy Synods of 1935, 1950 (chairman Pr . Florinis) and the 1974 Church newsletter.
Brand new and novel is the preaching of the unfortunate and screeching Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoumpa, who speaks the doctrines of the pan-heresy, the Ecumenism.
Unfortunately the misbeliefs of Metropolitan Cyprian, were embraced, as it was natural, by the bishops, who were ordained by him illegally as Chrysostomos Gonzalez, who in a letter to the extremely capable ecumenical - "Archibishop" of America Iakovon Koukouzin manifests that with great interest and pleasure I read the report of the decision of your Holy Synods to embrace the Old Calendarist Communities and the American bishops in a dialogue of love", expresses his malice to the G.O.C. by writing “some opposition of the Old Calendarists have shown extreme dedication in the name of faith, beyond the limits of devotion and have come to see the New Calendarists brothers, without a spirit of love to the point of doubting their belief in Orthodoxy" and that it is stupid to give doctrinal importance on the thirteenth day of the Julian calendar." Then he preaches the new "ecclesiology" by writing: "We have removed ourselves from these that our consciousness does not allow us and those which we see as misguided innovations but we never denied the existence of Grace in our Mother, the Church. We have priests and bishops for the governance of our movement and that for the need to govern ourselves. We are not a church above and beyond and against the Mother Church". He also praises the extremely capable Ecumenist by writing "whatever are our differences let me express to your Eminence that I am aware of your remarkable contributions to the Orthodox Church of America, the increase in the contributions of the Greek- Americans in the social sector of America and of Greek People in Western society in general. I wish that your many laudable accomplishments will be included someday on your success to bring your Orthodox brothers (Old Calendarists) together, in a union, and who would not want such a thing? "And he finishes by saying: "I'm the youngest and the least significant between the bishops in this country. I ask your forgiveness for any unintentional insult and humbly embrace your right hand." The lowest of all priests, Bishop Chrysostomos Oreon, Exarch in the true America (Old Calendar) Orthodox Church of Greece (Synod Metropolitan Cyprian Oropoy and Fili ). For these I suggest
1) The Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoubas is declared guilty and punished with the penalty of impeachment:
a) Because the Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsoumpas degraded the Orthodox Faith, which was delivered to us by the Holy and God-bearing Fathers of the Church and by the decisions of the Holy Synod of our Church, in 1935, 1950 and 1974 and they embraced the Ecumenical falsehoods, in which they claimed that the schismatics New Calendarists are the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the Holder of Holy Grace and Ark of Salvation and that the Church of G.O.C. of Greece is not a church.
b) Because they propagated indiscriminately and without examining the sacraments of our Church to the innovative and ecumenical schimatics New Calendarists.
c) Because they seceded from our church and they have formed their own Church and were accused of creating the self-proclaimed "Holy Synod in Resistance" with the Metropolitans Cyprian of Oropos and John of Sardinias and those who were ordained by others.
d) Because Metropolitan Cyprian was accused that for 15 years he deceived the Authority and his faithful and pious people of our Church of Greece of G.O.C, of Greece by supposedly confessing his faith to our Church to receive his ordination as a Bishop, by revealing his true purpose, which was to receive his ordination and the establishment of a "church" of his own inspiration to promote a conscience based on misbeliefs.
2) Metropolitan Ioannis of Sardinia was found guilty and punished with impeachment for these accusations and Metropolitan Cyprian for these actions.
3) The bishops who were ordained by him
a) Chrysostom Gonzalez,
b) Nephon Kigkountou
c) Chrysostomos Marlasis
d) Chrysostomos Kouskoutopoulos and two foreigners, an Italian and a Swedish , unidentified to us were declared guilty and punished with dismissal because they embraced the falsehoods and ecumenical beliefs of Metropolitan Cyprian Koutsouba, seceded from our Church and received improper and unlawful ordinations.
4) The actions of the bishops mentioned above, Cyprian and Ioanni and the other prelates who were ordained by them, the Holy Rules of the Church, such as the 34th Rule of the 6th Holy Ecumenical Synod are foreseeing and condemning: The crime of conspiracy, faction and always blocks out the laws, many of which are prohibited in the Church of God... if any cleric or monk are found to conspire or to belong in certain groups or want to destroy bishops or other clergy, will be dropped to a low degree ." The sixth rule of the Synod of Gangra states: someone who worships the Church, despises the Church and wants to officiate separately from their elders , without the permission and the opinion of the Bishop, let him be anathema", the 5th rule of Antiochia mentions: if a Presbyter or a deacon despises his bishop and excommunicates himself from the Church, the latter would try to convince him and turned to the Bishop and if he does not want to be convinced, nor to obey and called a second time without treatment he cannot receive the honor. If he remains noisy and disturbs the Church through the power returned to him (see the 10th and 11th of Kathargeni) 13th of the AB session, which mentions' Bishop if someone makes a crime under the pretext against the respective Metropolitan, to remove himself from the society and not to mention his name, as defined in the Divine Mystagogy but it is evident that the created schism, appointed by the Holy Synod of the whole priesthood alienated . And these were sealed and designated on pretexts such crimes of their departing presidents and made schism and joined the Church of the dissociated" etc.

Then, they read all the documents of the dossier of this case, including the sheet Nr 15 of the newspaper "Voice of the Fathers" by the Hieromonk Silouano, a letter from Italy, in which he stated that "recently the Old Calendarists, made bishop a man who had dealings with the Court, not someone with a good past" and the extrajudicial answer 1/ 14.11.1986 of the accused Metropolitan Cyprian is published elsewhere.
After the discussion that took place, the Holy Synod rejected the objection to the extrajudicial answer to Metropolitan Cyprian that the Holy Synod is condemning his case, on the grounds that he was removed by himself years ago, judging that the normal power and the authority of the Orthodox Church never abolished his retirement from it. Especially in order for the clergy, the Church which ordained it was incontrovertible and possessed the right to defrock the Clergy, concurrent to these reasons.
They unanimously decided that the accusations were true that all the accused degraded the Orthodox Faith, which was delivered to us by the Holy and God-bearing Fathers of the Church and by the decisions of the Holy Synod of our Church, in 1935, 1950 and 1974 and they embraced the Ecumenical falsehoods, which they claim that the schismatics New Calendarists are the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the Holder of Holy Grace and Ark of Salvation and that the Church of G.O.C. of Greece is not a church.

Finally it was proven, especially for Metropolitan Cyprian who was accused that for 15 years he deceived the Authority and his faithful and pious people of our Church of Greece of G.O.C, of Greece by supposedly confessing his faith to our Church to receive his ordination as a Bishop and revealed his true purpose, which was to grab his ordination as a Bishop and to establish a "church" of his own inspiration to promote a falsehood conscience which can be proven clearly and prove the above reply of extrajudicial 1/14-11-1986 in which not only did not dare to confess the Orthodox faith and continues to qualify as a misbelief to our faith in the Orthodox Church and that this is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the Holder of Holy Grace .

This decision was communicated to the absent Metropolitan of Attiki and Megaridos, Mr Antonios, who agreed with the entire agreement and that he countersigned it.
